Lokomotiv kurastyru zauyty is located in the city of Nur-Sultan. This plant produces diesel locomotives: the main cargo single-section diesel locomotive TE33A of the "Evolution" series and its passenger version TE33A.
Students of the specialty "Transport, Transport Equipment" have the opportunity to take a tour accompanied by professors of the department, as well as pre-graduate practical training at the Locomotive Kurastyru Zauyty plant.
Undergraduates of the specialty "Transport, transport Equipment and technologies", accompanied by professors of the department, visited the city of Ekibastuz, at the enterprise for the production of switches and railway wheels of "Prommashkomplekt" LLP.
At the same time, undergraduates of the second year of the specialty "Transport, transport equipment and technologies" visited the Test Center of "Kazakhstan Certification Center for Railway Transport" LLP located in the city of Ekibastuz.
Professional and educational practices of students are an integral part of the training of highly qualified specialists aimed at consolidating the theoretical knowledge received by students in the process of studying at the university.
According to academic plan and schedules of the educational process, summer practices are conducted in accordance with the requirements of state education standards on the specialty. Places for training practices are formed in accordance with cooperation agreements with the leading organizations of the transport industry or under an individual labor contract. There are contracts and provisions of the «Bus depot №4» LLPdepartment branch. Contracts are concluded with foreign and domestic partner universities with the purpose of academic exchange of students of all levels; involvement of social partners and employers in the development, examination and implementation of educational programs.
