International cooperation

 

 

Professor of the Eurasian National University visited OBuda University of Hungary in order to establish cooperation between universities

 

13/03/23 - ENU teaching staff, doctoral students and undergraduates, as well as everyone who wished, took an active part in the open lecture of PhD doctor, professor of the Polytechnic Institute of Braganza of the Portuguese Republic Frollen Ribeiro Luis Manuel on the topic “Renewable Energy Technologies. What was conquered, and what lies ahead? 

As part of the Academic Mobility of the self-financing program, in the period from 5.10.2022 to 27.01.2023, a 4th-year student Smagulov Askhat (specialty “Transport, transport equipment and technologies”) studied at the Ege University, Izmir, Turkey.

On october 14, 2022, an international conference was held with the participation of the teaching staff of L.N. Gumilyev ENU and professors from foreign countries: Latvia, Spain, Slovakia, etc

 

As part of the Academic Mobility under the program of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the period from  1.09.2022- on 29.01.2023, 3rd year students Razbek Daniyar, Sargozhiev Alisher, Burtebayeva Aida, Maltabar Nurmukhamed (specialty “Transport, transport equipment and technologies”) studied at the Riga Technical University 

(Riga Technical University), Riga, Latvia.

Undergraduates of group 7M071300 of the specialty "Transport, Transport Equipment and Technologies" in the 2019-2020 academic year had the opportunity to train at the Riga Technical University in Riga, Latvia.

During the research internship at the Riga Technical University, Undergraduates received invaluable experience and the best impressions. During the excursions to the laboratories of the university, the undergraduates noted the rich equipment of the laboratories with various types of equipment and a large list of all the necessary reagents for successful and diverse work on all methods of synthesis and analysis of substances. They also noted the high competence of the entire teaching staff of the Department of Transport, in-depth knowledge of their subject by each of the professors, good knowledge of English, friendly attitude to foreign students, interest in helping to find information on dissertation topics.

Undergraduates had the opportunity to visit the university library, to work with numerous sources and materials, in which they found relevant data and interesting articles related to research within the framework of their dissertation work. In the laboratories, all devices work properly, all safety measures are observed.

Riga Technical University is located in the very beautiful and cozy city of Riga, on the shore of the Gulf of Riga, not far from the place where the river Daugava flows into the Baltic Sea. 

The «Transport, transport equipment and technologies» department in terms of international cooperation pays much attention to the educational process at all traininglevels.

 

           Academic Mobility of Professorial Teaching Staff (incoming, outgoing).

          Head of the L.N. Gumilev ENU «Transport, transport equipment and technologies» department doctor of Technical Sciences Professor Togizbaeva Baglan Bolsinovna took part in the meetings and in the work of the working group including Igors Tipans, Deputy Rector for International Academic Cooperation and Studiesat the Riga Technical University and Mareks Mezitis, Director of the Transport Institute, that was created for the joint development of the Double Degree program for Master's Degree with RTU.During the work a detailed plan for the implementation of the above-mentioned program was developed, and a cooperation agreement was signed. In general, under the academic mobility program, more than 100 students were trained within 3 years.\

 

PhD, deputy Dean for science and research of Department of Transportation Systems, Czech Technical University in Prague, Josef Kocourek, visited the «Transport, Transport Technology and Technology» Department with the purpose of conducting the first year masters course. At the end of the course students got an exam.
