From February 15 to 25, the scientific library conducted a comprehensive information and educational program "Faculty Day in the Library." On February 16, students of the Department "Organization of Transportation, Traffic and Operation of Transport" of the Faculty of Transport and Energy visited the library. The program was organized to introduce students, undergraduates, doctoral students and faculty teachers to the resources and services of the library in support of the educational process. Subject librarians assigned to each faculty took an active part in the organization of the event.
An exhibition of new educational, teaching and scientific literature in educational disciplines has been launched over the past three years. During the tour, students, undergraduates and doctoral students learned about the structure and rules for using the library, as well as
received consultations on the website of the library, the Electronic Library module (MegaPro AIBS) with the possibility of accessing the electronic catalog and subscription electronic resources.
Employees of the Research Research Support Service held consultations on working with scientific content, rules for creating a list of copyright identifiers, adjusting the profiles of researchers, as well as with scientific and scientific databases, and registered in subscription databases.
In the American corner, they learned about interesting cultural and educational events, discussion clubs, video clubs that improve the conversational skills of the English language. After that, they received professional advice on preparing for international tests in English (TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, etc.), and also got acquainted with the projects of the MakerSpace technical laboratory.
According to the faculty, the deans of the faculties and the students themselves, the library is a space where you can not only take textbooks, but also prepare yourself for classes, get information search skills in databases, it is useful to spend free time reading books or at events held by the library. The organizers of the Faculty Day express gratitude for the organization of visits and active participation of the deans of the faculties.
