The Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilev hosted the annual "Job Fair-2022" with the participation of more than 100 employers.
At the Job Fair also took part from the Department "Organization of Transportation, Traffic and Operation of Transport" Chief Specialist Ph.D. Gendarbekova A.M. (Universal Transport Decisions LLP), as well as the Akimat of the city of Nur-Sultan, Department for Youth Policy of the Akimat of Nur From the Department "OPDiET" responsible for employment, ed. Orazalina A.B. and Head of the Department of Arpabekov M.I., Technical Secretary of the State AC Bulatov N.K.
The purpose of the fair is to promote the employment of ENU graduates, familiarize employers with the specifics of training, and expand the employer base.
In connection with the pandemic, the last two years, the EN job fair was held online. This year, graduates of more than 18 students took part in the traditional format from the department.
For graduates of the university, "Job Fair" is a good opportunity to get useful acquaintances or just get important information for yourself, communicate with representatives of companies, organizations and institutions.
As Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Erkin Ongarbayev said at the opening of the fair, the ENU for the first time launched an electronic platform for registering employers and students at the university, on which companies present vacancies and graduates post their resumes. Today, more than 60 companies are registered on the digital platform and about 1,300 vacancies and additional places for practice are represented - more than 400.
"Our university has a leading position in graduate employment. In close cooperation with employers - partners, we prepare high-quality personnel for the country. This year, the number of graduates amounted to 5262, including 3735 in bachelor's degree, 1147 in master's degree, 380 in doctoral degree, "said Vice-Rector of ENU Erkin Ongarbayev.
This electronic platform is the own product of the ENU named after L. N. Gomilev and was created in order to digitalize the business processes of the university.
