Students of the volunteer club "Gezellig" together with the deputy dean for work with students Dzhakksmbetova Makpal Adlikanovna visited the lonely grandmothers on 8 March, congratulating them on the International Women's Day.
Despite the cold festive morning, volunteers with great enthusiasm visited the elderly people of the city of Astana, each of them has a difficult life, they are workers of the rear and veterans of the war.
Having bought food and flowers, the students wanted to show that they respect and appreciate the work of the adult generation for young people.
Grandmothers did not want to let go, in response they desired a lot of happiness and health, meeting with some elderly people moved to the tears of the students themselves.
Such actions have great educational value for the younger generation. After meeting with the veterans, they were once again convinced that such concepts as patriotism, a sense of duty and love for the Motherland should be fundamental in the life of every citizen.
It should be noted that the need for social support for older people is also indicated in a special line in the annual Address of the President of the country to the people of Kazakhstan.
