Students of the Department of Standardization, Certification and Metrology visited the Central Customs Laboratory

During practice, the Metrology-11 group visited the Customs Laboratory. The Central Customs Laboratory is a specialized state institution of state revenue bodies authorized to perform customs examination functions and other functions in accordance with the legislation of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to the order of the Chairman of the Customs Committee under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 129-P of September 28, 1995, the Central Customs Laboratory (hereinafter - KTL) was established on the basis of the above-mentioned department. Established as an independent structural division of the Customs Committee with 26 employees. Customs expertise is research and tests conducted by customs experts using special and (or) scientific knowledge to solve tasks assigned to customs authorities. During customs examinations, the qualitative and quantitative composition, physico-chemical indicators of goods are determined with the help of modern instruments and equipment: gas chromatograph, devices for injection of petroleum products under atmospheric and reduced pressure (vacuum), X-ray-fluorescence spectrometer, infrared Fourier spectrometer, for determination of pouring points. automatic analyzer, automatic devices for determination of ignition temperature in open and closed crucible, etc.
