On March 16, 2018, the V International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic "Actual problems of transport and energy: the ways of their innovative solution" was held at the ENU transport and energy faculty. The sectional meeting was held at the department "Standardization and Certification". The conference was attended by guests from other countries - Austria, Russia, Uzbekistan, and the universities of our country - D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan state technical university, KSTU, University of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences. In total, 28 reports were heard in the work of the section. The directions of the reports concerned standardization, certification, metrology in transport and energy, quality management in logistics, materials science and technology of structural materials. Separate topics concerned the training of personnel for the sphere of technical regulation and metrology. In the work of the sectional meeting of the conference took part the faculty, students and undergraduates of the department "Standardization and Certification" ENU named after LN.Gumilev.
The Section session was opened by the Head of the Department "Standardization and Certification", Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Baykhozhaeva Bakhytkul Uzakovna. After greeting the participants of the conference, she noted the importance of this event for the faculty, wished everyone productive work. Then she dwelled on the actual problems of technical regulation and metrology.
The deputy dean for scientific work, Candidate of Technical Sciences, associate professor Sultanov Timur Toleugalievich focused the attention of those present on the most important issues of scientific research at the faculty.
At the conference, associate professors of the department - Muratov Askar Aronovich, Ahmadyanov Abdulla Ugubayevich, Kirgizbaeva Kamilya Zhuzbaevna, Ermakhanova Fatima Rimovna, Haymuldinova Altyngul Kumashevna, Karimbaeva Gulzhan Zhanadilevna made presentations. Masters and students made reports at the section session. The best reports were recommended for inclusion in the conference proceedings.
