On October 11, 2018 the meeting of student activists was held at the Eurasian National University named after L.N.Gumilyov related to the discussion of the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev to the people of Kazakhstan "Growth of welfare of Kazakhstan’s people: increase of incomes and quality of life".
Lecturer-candidate of historical sciences, professor, researcher at the State Institute of History Kaliyev Zhabay Nurmakuly, speaking to students, discussed the main and specific aspects of the new Message, goals that the President set for the government and for people of Kazakhstan.
The lecturer noted that during these difficult days , the President places great responsibilities on the people of Kazakhstan and believes that together we will overcome the current crisis and achieve the goal - the prosperity of our sacred Motherland - Mangilik El and the entry of Kazakhstan among the 30 most developed countries. He also noted that despite the negative impact of the global crisis, Kazakhstan has achieved significant success in implementing the long-term Strategy "Kazakhstan-2050".
According to Zhabay Nurmakuly, the President said about strategically important tasks that are particularly relevant to young people. It is about creating good starting opportunities for them to start a career and family life, to solve the housing problem. Not by chance the next year was declared the Year of Youth.
Students of the Faculty of Transport and Energy in their comments noted that in the Message to the people of Kazakhstan, the Head of State paid special attention to the quality requirements of the higher education system. Therefore, it is important to have a high-quality attitude towards studying at the university, preparing to become a highly qualified specialist who keeps up with the times.
