NEW WAYS TO ENHANCE ACADEMIC MOBILITY

One of the important forms of internationalization of higher education is academic mobility of teachers.  Kazakhstan universities are actively developing new forms of international cooperation in order to enrich and exchange experience in the field of education and science. For example, our University actively uses mobility tools, implements bilateral joint programs leading to the award of double diplomas at all levels of education, cooperates closely with European universities, participates in research programs of the European Union. This and other issues of internationalization of higher education were discussed at the meeting of the invited professors of the transport and energy faculty with the first Vice-rector of ENU Asemgul Moldazhanova. The meeting was attended by Vice-rector for international relations and innovation Baubek Somzhurek, head of Department of international cooperation Anastasia Karmelyuk, Dean of TEF Tynys Suleimenov, head of the Department "Organization of transportations, movements and transport operation" Muratbek Arpabekov, head of the Department "Standardization and certification" Bahytkul Baikhozhaeva.

Foreign Professor Siegfried Peter Ladner (Vienna, Austria) and Ionichesky (Czech Republic, Prague) praised the work of the University in this area, spoke about the training system in their universities.

The issues of PhD training were discussed, the issues of academic mobility of students, undergraduates and teaching staff were considered.

At the end of the meeting Professor Siegfried Peter Ladner  and Iirzhy Charski were presented with Souvenirs.
