SCIENTIFIC SEMINAR WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE DECADE OF SCIENCE

         On April 3, 2023, the annual Decade of Science dedicated to the Day of Science Workers started at the Eurasian National University. As you know, the holiday was established by the decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on October 22, 2011.

         As part of the Decade of science, various events were held at the Department of Standardization, Certification and Metrology of the L. N. Gumilev ENU. These included a scientific conference, seminars, exhibitions, lectures, discussions in which teachers and students of the department took an active part.

         On the sixth of April, 2023, a seminar was held in the "Start Up" building, which was attended by teachers and students of the Department of Standardization, Certification and Metrology.

The director of the Research Institute "Eurasian Institute of Physics and Energy Research and High-Tech Technologies", PhD Kubenova M.M. spoke at this seminar.

       Within the framework of the meeting, a meeting of teaching staff and students of the department was organized with leading scientists of ENU – Professor Kuterbekov K.A., Bekmyrza K.Zh., Kabyshev A.M.

        Kubenova M.M. made a presentation on the topic "Physical and energy research of functional materials", "Stages of development of hydrogen energy and technologies".  The main activities of the research Institute and the main results of research were highlighted.

       Professor Kuterbekov spoke about the implementation of the energy program for the sustainable development of mankind, the cardinal solution of the problems of non-proliferation of nuclear weapons and environmental improvement of the planet Earth, as well as the use of unconventional energy sources, energy-saving and environmentally friendly technologies and the development and development of new more environmentally friendly nuclear energy technologies. It was noted that hydrogen energy is becoming an important component of the further sustainable development of civilization.
