Scientific and pedagogical internship at the "Kazakh-German University" in Almaty

Undergraduates of the department "Organization of transportation, movement and operation of transport" Saktaganov GD, Omarbekova AE, Kiniyat NS, Maratkyzy A., Tauekel MM, Өmirbai R.Қ. in the period from November 15 to November 26, 2021, they passed a research internship at the Kazakh-German University (KGU) in Almaty.

The internship was held at the invitation and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technologies, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Zh.K. Kegenbekov.

The purpose of this internship was: study of modern methods of organizing the production of passenger and freight traffic and their optimization; studying foreign experience in organizing transportations and conducting scientific research in the field of transport logistics, organizing transportations in transport.

The beginning of the academic week was marked by an introductory lecture on the "Kazakh-German University". Dean Kegenbekov Zh.K. spoke in detail about full-time programs, research internships, discussed organizational issues of internships with undergraduates.

The internship took place in the Communication and Transfer Center "LogCentre" under the program "Topical issues of logistics development and supply chain management." Undergraduates attended lectures by leading scientists of KNU.

A technical tour of the buildings and testing laboratory of the university was held. A non-standard educational process and a modern equipped laboratory provide students with the highest quality of education. The acquaintance with KNU continued with an excursion to laboratories: environmental chemistry, digital technologies and applied problems. The laboratory of ecological chemistry is equipped with instruments for carrying out work on a comprehensive study of the quality of the environment. The digital technology laboratory allows you to carry out practical, laboratory, research work and experiments. The Applied Research Laboratory contributes to the implementation of scientific projects of an applied nature in the field of economics and socio-political sciences by teachers, students and undergraduates. In the classroom, problematic issues of the development of logistics and supply chain management were discussed.

2nd year undergraduates of the scientific and pedagogical direction of the Department of Transport and Energy Faculty of the Department "Organization of Transportation, Traffic and Operation of Transport" ENU named after L.N.
