Research internship

 

Undergraduate student of the department "Organization of transportation, movement and operation of transport" passed a research internship at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University.

In the period from November 11 to November 22, 2019, Ybray Aidana, an undergraduate student of the 2nd course in the specialty “6M090100 - Organization of transportation, traffic and operation of transport” of the Transport and Energy Faculty, underwent a research internship at D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University, Ust-Kamenogorsk (Kazakhstan).

The internship program included acquaintance with the department and the internship manager, work with the library fund of the university, as well as questions regarding the transport industry in Kazakhstan.

 

The internship took place directly at the Department of Engineering. Asiya Khasenovna Mashekenova, the head of the department, assigned to the undergraduate the internship manager - V. Vdovina.

  

The head of the scientific internship is Vladimir Vdovin, associate professor, candidate of technical sciences. Member of RUMS on specialties 5В090100 "Organization of transportation, traffic and operation of transport" and 5В090900 "Logistics". He took part in the development of “State obligatory education standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan”. He was a project manager for the reorganization of the passenger transport route network in the cities of Ridder, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Semey. He participated in the work of the competition commission of the regional akimat for intraregional and city passenger transport routes. The main areas of work: the organization of the work of freight and passenger road transport, the management of transport and storage systems using logistic approaches.

 

Participation in a scientific seminar on the report of undergraduates 2 years of study in the specialty "6M071200 Engineering".

  

During the research internship, all issues specified in the “Internship Plan” were reviewed and studied. Planned work and goals have been achieved. The acquired knowledge will be used in the final dissertation on the theme: “Forfaiting model for grain transportation (Caspian transport corridor)”.

During the weekend I visited the main attractions of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk. At the end of the ten-day internship, the graduate was awarded a certificate of its successful completion.
