There is a student scientific association (SSA) at the department of "Transport, transport equipment and technology". SSA "Transport designer" is an opportunity to reveal the professional capabilities of students in research work. The head of this association is Ph.D., acting assistant professor Kushaliev D.K.

3rd year students of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Department of "Transport, Transport Equipment and Technology") took part in the XV Republican Subject Olympiad on the discipline “Fundamentals of technical operation of transport equipment”, organized by Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University (Karaganda), where they won prizes. According to the results of the competition, which took place in 2 stages: The winners of the competitions were awarded diplomas of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, as well as incentive cash prizes. Aben Iliyas took 1st prize, gaining 185 points and a cash prize of 50,000 tenge. Temirlan Kozhakhmetov took 3rd place with 168 points and was awarded a cash prize of 20,000 tenge. Students were prepared for the subject Olympiad Associate professors of the department - Professor Karazhanov A. A. and PhD Balabekova K. G.

12.04.2023 the XVIII international scientific conference "NDYLYM JÁNE bilim-2023" was attended by 25 people, including the commission, the chairman, members of the commission and the secretary of the section. Gumilyov in March 16 was hosted the XI International Scientific and Practical Conference- "Actual problems of transport and energy: ways of their innovative solution." The conference was attended by leading scientists from Kazakhstan, Russia and the Federal Republic of Nigeria and took place in the Transport and Energy Faculty at this university

At the department of "Transport, transport equipment and technology" were listened research practice reports of 2nd-year master's degree.

On october 14, an international conference was held with the participation of the faculty of L.N. Gumilyev ENU and professors from foreign countries: Latvia, spain, Slovakia, etc

Teachers of the Department "Transport, Transport equipment and Technologies" have completed a 72-hour International online refresher course "Distance learning: the use of digital technologies in leading educational institutions in Europe" from 13.09.2021 to 24.09.2021.

The aim of the course is to meet the training needs of teaching staff or training managers who want to develop and manage e-learning projects.
