А competition was announced for grant financing of projects for the commercialization of scientific and (or) scientific and technical activities. By decision of the National Scientific Councils, the winner of the competition and the grant holder of a total amount of 183 million tenge was the project "Improving the energy efficiency of technological equipment of KSP Steel LLP through the introduction of energy-saving heat pump technologies with recycling of the waste heat of the circulating water supply system" and energy efficient technologies ”, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department“ Thermal Power Engineering ”Altai Alimgazin. Note for participation in the competition from ENU. L.N. Gumilev received 19 applications, 7 of which were sent to the National Scientific Councils of the NNC for consideration.

On October 27, 2017, a grant agreement was signed for the commercialization of RNNTD between the ENU. L.N. Gumilyov, JSC "Science Foundation" and a business partner of LLP "KSP Stell". Currently, together with the commercialization department, the project is being implemented.

A memorandum of cooperation has been signed with Kaoko International, a leading Finnish company. A number of concrete steps have been planned in the implementation of joint activities with this company, including the supply of equipment, the implementation of a pilot project in Astana, the construction of a plant for the production of power equipment in Kazakhstan (heat pumps, heat exchangers, etc.).

On November 1-2, 2017, negotiations were held with President of the Corporation Niiles Airola and Chief Executive Officer Vladimir Oleshchenko, who outlined the main areas for further cooperation.

Recall the operator of the competition - JSC "Science Foundation" on behalf of the State Organization "Committee of Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan". The competition was held with the aim of allocating grants for projects to commercialize the results of scientific and (or) scientific and technical activities within the priority sectors of the economy. Competitive bids of participants were accepted in the electronic system of receiving applications on the website www.e-cloud.kz from June 12, 2017 to July 26, 2017. We congratulate Altay Shurumbayevich Alimgazin on receiving a grant for the commercialization of the project, we wish him success and speedy implementation of the project in the markets of Kazakhstan and abroad.

Scientific seminar on «Modern conditions of development of traditional and green energy in the Republic of Kazakhstan»

October 9, 2018 held a scientific seminar, where the report was made by Ph. D., associate Professor of the Department Zhumagulov M. G. on " Modern conditions of development of traditional and green energy in the Republic of Kazakhstan."

The speaker sets out in detail the relevance and objectives of this research area. As the main document adopted: "strategy of sustainable energy of the future of Kazakhstan until 2050".

The aim of the strategy is entry of Kazakhstan into number of 30 most developed countries of the World.

The strategy defines the main parameters of sustainable energy both in General and in economic sectors that ensure the development and efficient use of energy capacity. The strategy provides for the full-scale achievement by the Republic of Kazakhstan by 2030 of the parameters of global energy and environmental development provided for by the initiative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations "Sustainable energy for all".

Further, the state of the traditional energy of Kazakhstan was disclosed in detail. The main energy development projects are listed. The second stage of the report was a detailed analysis of the opportunities of Green energy in Kazakhstan with a list of existing enterprises.

The strategy of sustainable energy of Kazakhstan until 2050 is necessary in order to become a national in reality, and not only in its content, should have understanding and support in all layers of Kazakh society and at the international level, since its implementation depends on: the entire population, reasonably using energy in the sphere of households and meet other needs; business, applying energy efficient methods; the state, organizing and regulating the processes of economic development, social sphere, the state of the environment, including on the basis of the formation of energy sufficiency, subject to compliance with the norms and rules of energy efficiency and environmental safety, as well as the reservation of natural resources for future generations; foreign economic and foreign policy partners, which on the basis of mutually beneficial exchange processes can provide significant assistance in the implementation of projects sustainable energy Strategy of Kazakhstan until 2050. To become a reality it is necessary in the period of modernization of economy of Kazakhstan until 2030, based on a specific roadmap to include the implementation of a balanced, following the principles of pragmatic and evolutionary nature of all decisions, insufficiently radical measures that would later consistently provide the function of energy in the stable regime.

This will allow in the future, in the implementation of the scenario of the knowledge economy until 2050 and in the future, consistently ensure the functioning of clean energy in a sustainable mode based on high technologies.

The economic potential of Kazakhstan is primarily determined by the availability of energy resources. Every year rising prices for hydrocarbon raw materials whose reserves are largely exhausted, besides increasing the environmental burden on the environment when using coal, oil and gas has forced many countries to rapidly search for alternative renewable sources of energy. Scientists around the world are actively working on different projects, studying possible energy sources in comparison with depleted resources. The use of renewable energy as an alternative to traditional energy sources is becoming a topical issue and the report of associate Professor Zhumagulov M. G. is very informative, and the results cover all aspects of the energy sector of Kazakhstan.
