The Ministry of Internal Affairs jointly with the Department for Combating Drug Trafficking of the Department of Internal Affairs of Astana city and the Astana branch of the party "Nur Otan" held an anti- narcotic event for students of the transport and energy faculty of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilev.
The purpose of the event is to draw the youth's attention to the threat of narcotics, the importance of fencing from their use, the formation of the principles of healthy lifestyles; timely reporting of the harmful effects of narcotic use, and building trust with parents in order to avoid their involvement in the narcotics environment.
At the opening of the event, Sergey Il'inykh, the head of the department for combating the narcotic business of the Department of Internal Affairs of Astana city, noted the importance of obtaining timely information about the danger of the first narcotic test, their harmful effects on the human body.
TED students actively participated in the discussion, thanking the lecturers for the informative conversation that took place in the form of the game. In the end, a video was shown to students, where it was clearly seen how "happy tablets" ruin the lives of hundreds of people.
