On February 9 the scientific library of the Eurasian national university held an online meeting "Poetry менімен егіз бе by piece і ң"..., devoted to memory of the famous Kazakh poet Mukagali Makatayev. On this meeting undergraduates of department participated.
The purpose of the event is to popularize the poet's work among student youth. This year, poetry lovers celebrate 90 years since the birth of M. Makataev. Student youth took an active part in the literary meeting, who knows and loves the poetic work of the great poet of our time. The moderator of the event, coordinator of the Inclusive Information and Resource Center Zhuashbaeva Gulkhaya Babakhanovna provided an introductory statement to the researcher, employee of the department of rare books and manuscripts Imangazy Nurakhmetu, who called the hero of the day a bright page of Kazakh poetry of the 60-70 years of the twentieth century. He briefly spoke about the life of the poet and read the poem "Mahabbat, Senen Kelsin Deushi Edim Zhaly."
Participants spoke about modern value of creative heritage of the favourite national poet, his great transfers of works of foreign classics at the high art level.
The famous TV reporter Baymolda Munaydar who told about some pages of the biography of the poet and read the poem devoted to M. Makatayev participated in a literary meeting.
Active part was taken by students of economic, philological faculties, faculty of journalism and political science - members of a youth wing "Zhas Otan". Performed by Babol Audyn, Camilla Ruslanyza, Farizy Muslim, Ramazan Esmaanbetov, Nrayly of Shynzhyrova fine verses by the poet "Bayt Degen not өз і", "Sep і ң көзін", "Sanaula күн, Sanaula ouch, Sanaula of veins", "Farizaa", "to Her, өмір" were heard.
In conclusion of an event the deputy director of the ENU scientific library of L.N. Gumilev Zhanar Bekaydaryzy thanked all participants of a meeting and read one of the favourite poems by M. Makatayev under the name "Poetry Men_men Eg_z Be Piece _ .".
Revering memory of the poet, it is possible to tell with confidence that Mukagali Makatayev's poetry is a harmony of love and creative sense in which the identity of the poet is reflected. And this poetry is always modern and eternally lives in the world which the poet loved and to which I bequeathed in love to remember him.
