On March 29, 2023, a meeting with the famous writer, playwright, public figure Tolen Abdik took place in the scientific library of the L. N. Gumilev Eurasian National University as part of the republican campaign "One Country – One Book". The creative evening was attended by students of the department "Organization of Transportation, traffic and operation of transport" faculty teachers, as well as literature lovers.

The guest of the evening shared with the readers his thoughts about literature, morality, virtue and spirituality.
He told about how he started writing books, shared his thoughts about what he is doing today, told about his life and work.
In a conversation with students, he advised the younger generation how to spend their free time productively.
"One of the greatest opportunities given to man is freedom, and the Kazakh people love freedom from being. This is a huge opportunity for you. Therefore, at this time, strive to study, study and travel," said the writer, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Tolen Abdik.
