On the fourth of May, 2019 in the Reference center (of Nur-Sultan) took place the republican competition "The Best Young Metrologist of 2019". The purpose of this competition - identification, support and stimulation of young metrologists for achievements in the field of scientific and applied metrological activity.
Scope of a competition:
1. general and legislative metrology;
2. theory of measurements;
3. standards and measuring instruments;
4. researches in the field of physical, chemical and other types of measurements;
The competition is annually carried out in two steps: the 1st stage – estimation of the presented scientific works by the commission, the 2nd stage – hearing by the commission of performances of the candidates who passed the first stage of a competition at the presented scientific works.
This year ten participants who presented the scientific works were allowed to a competition. Members of the commission heard each participant. Thereby, they gave to contestants an opportunity to protect the works and to bring as much as possible to members of the commission the necessary information which did not enter work in writing.
Young specialists (35 years are not more senior) the metrological services, higher educational institutions, scientific and other organizations which are performing works in the sphere of metrology and having the higher education and also undergraduates and students of higher educational institutions participated in a competition.
Students, undergraduates and young teachers of the Kazakhstan higher education institutions participated in a competition: ENU of L.N. Gumilev, KAZNU of Al-Farabi, KARGTU, KAZNAU.
From the Eurasian National University of L.N. Gumilev participated students of 3rd course of specialty "Standardization and Certification" of transport and power faculty Faleev Margulan and Hisamutdinova Victoria.
Faleev Margulan, the student of 3rd course of specialty "Standardization and Certification", from the first course actively is engaged in research work. Still being a school student, gained the diploma of 1 degree of a regional competition of scientific projects in physics, Pavlodar. Makes reports at scientific conferences, participates in student's scientific competitions. Is a co-author of 6 articles, four inventions, one textbook.
Hisamutdinova Victoria, the student of 3rd course of specialty "Standardization and Certification", is also one of the best students of our university. The author of 8 articles, actively participates in the international scientific conferences and competitions. Winner of the diploma of the II degree of the XII international scientific competition in the space researches "We Open the World of Science", Baikonur, 2016.
The winner of the diploma of the II degree in a competition of scientific projects in astronomy and physics, Almaty 2016. Winner of a competition of the youth projects "Look in Expo-2017" in the Akmola region, Astana, 2016. Prize-winner (3rd place) of the International scientific and practical conference "GLOBAL SCIENCE AND INNOVATIONS 2017". She was awarded with the letter of thanks from the rector. The diploma 1 place for a victory in a competition of the public presentation of the scientific projects "science slam-Kazakhstan 2017".
According to the decision of the commission the chief of service on metrology of the Zhezkazgan pipeline management of the JSC KazTransOil company – Kamalov Esimzhan Ishanbekovich became the best in a competition.
The second place is awarded to the student of the 3rd course of Standardization and Certification department of the Eurasian National University of L.N. Gumilev – to Faleev Margulan Didarovich (the research supervisor – the Doctor of Engineering, professor Baykhozhayeva Bakhytkul Uzakovna).
The third place was taken by the senior teacher of the Karaganda state technical university – Aymagambetova Raushan Zhanatovna.
The young metrologists participating in a competition are invited for the World day of metrology which will pass on May 20, 2019 in the Eurasian national university of L.N. Gumilev on which they will be awarded with mementoes and certificates of honor.
Following the results of a competition members of the commission estimated high extent of training of young metrologists, wished all good health, success in work and further participation in development of metrology.
