On May 22, 2018, the enlarged Scientific Council of the Transport and Energy Faculty was held, timed to coincide with the Day of the University - Decade "Kultegin".
With a welcoming speech to the audience, the dean of the faculty, Doctor of Technical Sciences, prof. Suleimenov, presenting the invited guests of the Academic Council:
- Moldazhanova Asemgul Alexandrovna - professor, the first vice-rector - vice-rector for academic work ENU named after LN. Gumilyov;
- Palymbetov Shamen Baltabayevich - Director of the Department of Academic Affairs of the ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov;
- Zhanaidarov Talgat Zhanaidarovich - chairman of the trade union committee of the ENU named after LN. Gumilyov;
- Omashev Namazaly Omashuly - doctor of philological sciences, professor of the department "Teleradio and public relations" ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov;
- Baymuhanov Seriktai Kakenovich - dean of the architectural and construction faculty;
- Makysh Serik Bihanuly - the dean of the Faculty of Economics.
According to the agenda, the heads of the departments told about the achievements and prospects for the development of the faculty's specialties.
In order to support technical education, a demonstration of the equipment of the laboratory complex of the faculty was held.
With the participation of representatives of the ENU library named after LN. Gumilyov, within the framework of the program "Rukhani Zhangyru" "100 new textbooks in the Kazakh language", a presentation of 18 books in the state language of outstanding contemporary scientists was organized.
At the end, the first vice-rector - vice-rector for academic work, Professor A.A. Moldazhanova, appreciating the work of the faculty, congratulated all those present on the birthday of the Eurasian National University. L.N. Gumilyov, wishing to continue to carry the banner of the university with honor and pride, to work for the benefit of an independent Kazakhstan.
