In the framework of the Ruhani zhngyru program, students - activists of the transport and energy faculty headed by the deputy dean for work with students, visited the Museum and Memorial Complex of Victims of Political Repressions and Totalitarianism "ALZHIR" located in the village of Akmol (Malinovka) in the Akmola region.

Within the framework of the excursion the students got acquainted with the documents, photo / audio materials, exhibits, personal belongings of imprisoned women victims of political repressions.

Before the students, the tragic page of the history of Kazakhstan opened from the era of totalitarianism of 1937-1953. It was especially painful to hear about the death of innocent children, the so-called "enemies of the people", who were subsequently rehabilitated. Silently, with drooping heads our students walked to the wall of memory, where once again they were horrified at the scale of repression when they saw thousands of names of prisoners who had been knocked out on the stone. We are sure that none of them will forget this history lesson in the museum.

It should be noted that the organization of such events helps to comprehend and pass through all the tragedy of these pages of history, carries a large educational work, reminding the younger generation of the time at which they live, where all conditions for all-round development, freedom of speech and peacefulness are created .
